Volunteer
Each day volunteers at our centers in Concord and Charlotte support women facing unplanned pregnancies in our community. Our centers offer training and flexible opportunities for volunteers and bi-lingual advocates to join us in sharing the love of Christ with our clients. Whether you can give one day per week or one day per month, you can help offer hope and help bring life to women who are searching for answers and need support.
The following is a list of the regularly needed roles at our centers. If you are interested in volunteering, fill out the volunteer application and reference forms, and return to Jackie Selles, Operations Director.
- Our Advocates meet one-on-one with our patients who may be experiencing an unplanned pregnancy to provide information and support.
- The Administrative Team members play a critical role in the ministry by preparing mailings or performing other administrative duties. You have the flexibility to assist with ongoing administrative needs or just help with special projects.
Join Our Board of Directors
Our Board Members play active roles in all areas of the centers’ ministry. The Board meets monthly to ensure that CWC is carrying out the mission and vision for women facing unplanned pregnancies in the greater Cabarrus County and University City areas.

In-Kind Donations & Material Gifts
Free up the Center budget by donating in-kind gifts or services. Your gift of service will allow the Center to redirect funds toward life-saving expenses, such as medical supplies and client resources. From supplies to general maintenance to legal counsel, there are many needs you can help us meet. Please also consider a Financial Donation to the centers.
Participate in CWC Events
Support CWC Events
Introduce your church or business to the center by sponsoring one of our fundraising events. Each year, the center hosts a Stories of Life Benefit Banquet (Fall) and Baby Bottle Blessings campaign. Join us by sponsoring or attending our Stories of Life Banquet or start a Baby Bottles Campaign at your church or organization.
Sponsor a Baby Shower
Celebrate a new mom’s choice for life! You can help provide a beautiful baby shower experience for a new mom who has chosen to care for her newborn by shopping for new baby items or by providing gift cards. The center hopes to provide each mother with the tangible support they will need to prepare for the arrival of their new baby boy or girl. This is a great opportunity for an individual family, Sunday School group, Church, or Business to partner with the center. Please contact Jackie Selles, Operations Director for more information.
Partner with CWC
Invite a Speaker
Invite our Executive Director, staff or board representative to speak to your group or organization to learn more about the mission and vision of the Center as well as opportunities on how to partner with the center to bring life to our region. To invite a speaker, please call our office at 704-782-2221.
Refer Women in Need
When a woman reaches out to you because she’s facing an unplanned pregnancy or seeking counsel for a past abortion, our Center offers her support in a Christ-centered environment. Our goal is to show her the love, forgiveness, and freedom found in Christ to help her with whatever she’s facing. Call our schedule line at 704-870-7467.
